Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021 as the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she covers all aspects of space, from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial companies in space and the rise of space tourism. Kristin was born into the space sector as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. For the last five years, she has been covering space policy under the Trump and Biden Administrations on FOX News. During that time she also reported on two presidential impeachment trials as well as the 2020 presidential campaign and two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus.
